Driver running light crashes into special needs bus

Many workers have a workplace that is not an office but consists of a truck, bus or vehicle that is used in their jobs. However, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reported that work-related roadway vehicle accidents are the leading cause of death from traumatic injuries in the U.S. workplace. The CDC reported almost 12,000 deaths between 1992 and 2000 and 23.5 percent of civilian worker deaths in 2000 from these accidents.

South Carolina drivers sue Ford for defective brakes

Ford motor company is blaming driver error as a defense against a multi-state lawsuit which alleges that the manufacturer is responsible for a design defect in its 2002-2010 models. According to the suit, these vehicles were equipped with an electronic throttle control and were susceptible to sudden and unintended acceleration. The plaintiffs, consumers of affected vehicles purchased in South Carolina and 13 other states, filed this lawsuit on March 28 in a U.S. District Court.

North Carolina deputy involved in aggressive driving video

Aggressive driving and road rage has safety and legal consequences. The National Highway Transportation Safety Administration has reported that a substantial number of car crashes are attributed to aggressive driving while road rage incidents have led to death or injuries in all 50 states.
