Two injured in I-85 crash in Greenville County

Anyone in Greenville County that is injured in a car accident as a result of someone else's negligence is entitled to compensation under personal injury law. Personal injury claims are likely after a major Greenville County accident backed up Monday morning rush hour for nearly 10 miles.Highway Patrol received the accident report at approximately 7:20 a.m. on Interstate 85 southbound just before Interstate 385. It is not known how many vehicles were involved, or what series of events lead to the major crash. The Boiling Springs Fire Department reported at least two injuries, one was reported as a minor injury and the other involved lower extremity injuries.

South Carolina trooper injured in car accident

A recent car accident between a South Carolina state trooper and a pickup truck driver left both parties injured.The accident reportedly happened on Nov. 29, just after 1 a.m. According to authorities, the officer was driving down a street in the city of Anderson when the 29-year-old driver of a pickup truck turned into the path of the officer's vehicle. The collision totaled the trooper's vehicle, according to news reports. The pickup truck driver was sent to an area hospital to be treated for his injuries, although he was released shortly after and taken to the Anderson County Detention Center. According to a news report, the man faces DUI charges.

Car crash in Greenville County kills Indiana woman

Although most drivers take many precautions to protect themselves against an accident on the road, nobody ever wants or expects one to happen to them. The slightest slip on the road or oversight of a traffic law can lead to devastating consequences and permanently alter the lives of those involved, including family members not even on the scene at the time. Such is the case for an Indiana family mourning the loss of one of their own after a fatal car accident in Greenville County recently.The accident occurred at approximately 8:28 a.m. at Farrs Bridge Road and Old Farrs Bridge Road. South Carolina Highway Patrol states that a minivan was driving on Highway 183, when an SUV crossed the center line, causing a head-on collision. The Greenville County coroner's office says the 35-year-old female minivan driver died of blunt force trauma from the crash. She had been visiting family in the upstate area before the accident.

The girl died at Greenville Memorial Hospital as the result of multiple injuries she sustained in the truck accident.
