Justice is finally served on Greenville man guilty of drunk driving

The man responsible for a drunk driving accident that occurred nearly one year ago in Greenville County, South Carolina has finally faced the justice system. The tragic hit-and-run drunk driving accident proved fatal to a 47-year-old Simpsonville father and grandfather. The victim was walking on the sidewalk in Greenville, SC, when he was struck. He died two months later as s result of the drunk driving accident.

Driver in fatal accident was unlicensed

Three employees of a contractor for the South Carolina Department of Transportation were hit by a pickup truck that drove off the side of the road in Greenville County's neighboring Spartanburg County. All three were injured in the accident. One 47-year old worker later died due to severe internal injuries. The driver of the pickup has been charged with driving too fast for conditions and not having a South Carolina driver's license.

Reckless driving causes another car accident in Greenvile, 5 hurt

Reckless driving continues to rear its ugly head on Greenville roadways. One moment an individual can be minding his or her own business, perhaps on the way home from a Saturday night movie or a restaurant dinner. And in the next instant, their life can be significantly altered by the inconsiderate, even egregious actions of another. One evening last month, that accident scenario appears to have played out yet again.

Drunk driving crash kills Greenville babysitter on moped

In the early morning hours of October 8 yet another fatal drunk driving accident occurred on our roadways in Greenville County. A 21-year-old woman was riding her moped home on West Hampton Boulevard about 1:30 a.m. She had just gotten done babysitting for her cousins when she was struck and killed by a 21-year-old man from Greer. The young man was driving a four-door Nissan. The force of the drunk driving crash severely injured the woman, who was not wearing a helmet, and she died from blunt force trauma to her head and neck.
